Because HVAC systems are custom equipment ordered and installed for each property, our return policy reflects industry standards.
AC Units and HVAC Equipment
All HVAC systems, air conditioning units, heat pumps, air handlers, and related equipment are final sale and non-refundable once ordered or installed.
This includes:
- Central AC units
- Mini-split systems
- Heat pumps
- Air handlers
- Condensers
- Custom ordered parts
These systems are specially selected, sized, and ordered for your property, and once purchased cannot be returned.
Instead of refunds, HVAC equipment is protected by manufacturer warranties, which generally cover parts for multiple years depending on the brand. Under Florida law, HVAC manufacturer warranties attach to the property and automatically transfer to new homeowners if the property is sold.
Deposits and Equipment Orders
A deposit may be required before ordering equipment.
Deposits are non-refundable once equipment has been ordered, as the equipment is reserved specifically for your installation.
Service Work
Payments for the following services are non-refundable once performed:
- Diagnostic visits
- Service calls
- Repairs
- Maintenance services
- Labor charges
- Permit or inspection fees
Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel a scheduled service appointment with at least 24 hours notice.
Late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Certain contracts may include a 3-day cancellation period when required under Florida consumer protection law depending on where the contract was signed.
Installation Issues or Workmanship
If you believe there is an issue with installation workmanship:
- Contact us within 3 business days.
- We will inspect the issue.
- If the problem is related to workmanship, we will correct it at no additional labor cost.
Manufacturer Warranty
Most HVAC systems include manufacturer warranties covering parts such as compressors or coils.
Warranty terms vary by manufacturer but typically include:
- 5–10 year parts warranties
- compressor warranties depending on model
Warranty coverage does not include labor unless specified in writing.
